I am Allowed to Make Notes is a one-issue (yet) magazine, created to celebrate the gallery of windowsills of The Hague. The culture of putting random (or not so) objects on display and attracting strangers’ eyes to your private life makes a peculiar paradox together with the law against taking pictures of private windows. After I attempted to take a photograph of one of the objects (that someone's put out there for me to look!), I ended up being stopped by a policeman, and after that the project turned into a collection of descriptive texts, which are perfectly legal and give me a chance to share what The Hague has shown me.
